Aurora, Ont. – UFCW 1006A member and first-year psychology student Taylor Nacevski is the latest recipient of the BDM Scholarship award and is grateful for the award that comes amidst trying circumstances.

“Despite facing many challenges over the years, including the loss of my father, I have persevered to earn strong grades, work part-time and volunteer in community activities,” says The University of Western Ontario undergrad. “My union’s support through this scholarship has inspired me to continue working hard and giving back to my community.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their relatives every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
