In response to the current BC wildfire situation, your UFCW 247 Executive Board is activating a one-time $450 emergency relief payment for members displaced by evacuation orders in the affected regions of our province.

We recognize the tremendous impact that the wildfires have had on our members and the added financial stress of being evacuated from your homes. This one-time relief payment aims to alleviate some of the burden associated with the additional costs of being displaced from your home due to evacuation orders.

UFCW 247 members who live in areas that have been served an evacuation order starting in August 2023 can apply by filling out the application here.

Applications will be reviewed by UFCW 247 and members can expect a follow-up within 2-3 business days. Please ensure you have filled out the application form in its entirety; the required information serves to verify your membership and your address, as impacted by the evacuation order.
