WebCampus Free Online Courses
WebCampus opens the door to learning at your own pace, anytime of day, from any place that has a computer and an internet connection.
All webCampus courses are available free-of-charge for UFCW Canada members and their family members. There are over 200 courses covering great resume-building topics, including:
- Creating spreadsheets or documents using Microsoft Office,
- How to Deal with Difficult Customers, or
- How to Plan for Retirement.

Food Handler Certification
This certification course is available on-line and space is limited to Local 247 members only.
The Food Handler Certification Course, commonly known as ‘Food Safe’, was developed by the Canadian Institute of Food Safety and provides critical food safety training to food workers in all sectors of the Canadian food industry. It has been developed to meet all requirements for compliance with federal and provincial food safety laws.
It takes the average user about 6 hours to complete the course. You have up to 30 days to complete the course and take the final exam. If you wish, it is possible to proceed directly to the final exam at anytime.
A score of at least 70% on the final exam is necessary to pass the course and receive your certificate. Course material may be reviewed on any internet-connected device with a web browser. Only the final exam portion must be completed using a desktop or laptop with webcam and microphone enabled. Tablets and smartphones are not supported at this time. The final exam must be taken using either Chrome or Firefox web browsers. Be sure to use the most up-to-date versions of Chrome or Firefox.
LEARN ONLINE AT YOUR OWN PACE

Ever wonder how scheduling is supposed to work under the Superstore Collective Agreement?
Level up your scheduling knowledge by taking this two-hour mini-course offered exclusively to UFCW members working at Superstore. This course is facilitated by a UFCW Union Representative.
