Boucherville, Que. – June 20, 2025 – UFCW 500 member Florence Nadeau is the latest recipient of the BDM scholarship award. Florence works at Maxi in Boucherville; she is in her second year studying Histoire et civilisation at Cégep du Vieux Montréal.

Florence says, “I want to thank our union for this scholarship that will allow me to fully invest myself in my academic journey. I am proud to be part of an organization that encourages its members to pursue their advanced studies.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their relatives every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
