Today, UFCW Local 247 comes together to observe Transgender Day of Remembrance, a solemn occasion that calls upon us to reflect on the lives lost due to transphobia and violence.

On this day of honouring the memory of transgender individuals who have tragically lost their lives simply for being true to themselves, let’s recommit to action to ensure that transphobia is a thing of the past.
