Info, resources, and scholarships for Meatcutters

The Canadian Professional Meat Cutter's Association has created this website as a service and platform for the Meat Industry to encourage it’s diverse sectors to come together at a common meeting place to share information and challenges that are currently occurring in our industry, and hopefully in the long term, develop solutions through industry support & dialogue.

The CPMCA is a not for profit group operated by a small group of Professional Meat Cutter / Educators. Our website is one of our contributions to support industry, and the other is our textbook (see below) used in Meat Cutter training operations across Canada, as well as many sectors of the industry; who have adopted the textbook to support their in house training programs.

Revenues from the sale of our textbooks helps keep our textbook current and further develop our website. Additionally, we provide student scholarships for entry level training meat cutter programs across Canada to encourage individuals to careers in the meat industry.
