COVID-19 has impacted workplaces across the country, and every day frontline workers risk catching COVID-19 and getting seriously ill. If they get sick, they probably won’t receive sick pay, because most workers in Canada do not have access to paid sick days. That means many workers must choose between going to work to pay the bills or staying home without pay if they become ill.
