Toronto – April 18, 2022 – Time is running out to apply for the UFCW Canada Equity Grant Program, which awards $1,000 to initiatives that support newcomers, advance human rights, or promote community action.

Applicants are encouraged to supply a fun and creative 250-word description, or a short video, explaining what they will do and how they will use the grant money if they are named a recipient of the 2022 UFCW Canada Equity Grant Program.

Prospective applicants will have the ability to apply under one of three different streams, including the Newcomer/Immigration Stream, the Human Rights Stream, and the Community Action Stream, each providing $1,000 in funding.
