Union and Sobeys Meet on FreshCo Agreement

Negotiations for a FreshCo collective agreement began last week as we met with the Company on April 3rd and 4th. As you might expect the Company is looking for an agreement similar if not identical to the one imposed on Local 1518 by "Special Officer" Vince Ready. We have continued to exchange language and have discussions since the two days and have agreed on some modified language. We will continue to update members as talks progress.
