Safeway negotiations resume November 14

The Union Bargaining Committee for Safeway met on October 23-24, and negotiations on non-monetary issues continued.  The Union Bargaining Committee was focused on issues related to scheduling and availability, but little to no progress was made on these issues. 

Further negotiations are scheduled for November 14.

The Union Safeway Bargaining Committee is Sharon Tuerlings, Alicia Whitehead, Doug Insley, Margaret Robins, Kathleen Allen, and Brian Taylor, and they were joined by UFCW 247 Secretary-Treasurer Dan Goodman, Union Rep Bruce Jackson, and Union Rep Cathy Shannon.
